  47. drive in the directory you specified during installation.  To uninstall
  48. the demo, delete these files from your hard drive (or use the DELTREE
  49. command on the directory you installed to):

  73. 4. Machine Requirements & Tips

  76. Ascendancy requires a 486-33 or better CPU with at least 8 megabytes of 
  77. RAM.  Approximately 12 megabytes of harddrive space are required for the
  78. demonstration version (about 15 for the full game).  Your video card must
  79. support SVGA 640x480 with 256 colors, and must be VESA compatible.  Your
  80. CDROM drive should be at least double-speed.

  82. *Note: Ascendancy has been successfully tested on slower systems, including
  83. slower 386 systems, but users may experience problems with digital music
  84. and graphics speed on these slower machines..

  86. If you need to free more memory to run Ascendancy, ensure that SMARTDRV.EXE
  87. is not using more than 2 megs of memory, or disable it entirely (at your
  88. discretion).
